Meet The Xact! Management Team

CEO - Terri Shepherd

Terri is the founder and CEO of Xact! Resources, Inc.  When she isn't in the office, she devotes a significant amount of time to member organizations. She is a National Director for the American Collectors Association, and the Executive Director of the Minnesota Association of Collectors.  She is also a committee member of the United States Chamber of Commerce's International Policy Committee, the Small Business Council and International Trade Subcommittee She is also the treasurer on the executive committee of the Burnsville Chamber board and a director on the board for the Association of Corporate Growth.   Her other business, Xact! Due Diligence is a background investigation company that specializes in corporate and individual public record research.   As an experienced speaker, Terri enjoys speaking and training credit and risk policies and collection procedures to associations and businesses. 

Operations Manager - Codi

Codi has been with Xact! for just over 6 years. She started as a Collector and worked her way up; she has done everything from collections to sales to collection manager.  She is now managing the Client Services Department, which is perfect for her because she is great with people and knows a lot of the ins and outs of the company. When Codi is not in the office, she spends her free time at home with her husband and her puppy, dabbling in one of her many creative hobbies including scrapbooking, photography, painting, or making her own gifts.

Owner - Brenda High Moosbrugger, CCBE

Brenda brings over 28 years of credit reporting management, sales, and marketing experience to the business. Her various positions with Chilton Credit Reporting include: General Manager, Branch Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Manager, Sales Coordinator, Regional Marketing Representative and Management Trainee in Dallas where her career with Chilton Corporation began in 1978. She became Vice President of M&M Consultants, Inc. in 1989. Her industry involvement over the 25 years includes: Chairman – Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Minnesota and 12 years on the Board of Trustees, President of ICA District Six, National Association of Women Business Owners, Fellow – St. Thomas College, President’s Council – University of Minnesota, Society of Consumer Credit Executives. Recipient of the 1991 ICA Distinguished Service Award.

System Compliance - Julie

Julie has worked as the Xact! System Compliance Officer for 7 years. Overall, she has put  almost 16 years of hard work into the company doing everything except collections. As the System Compliance Officer she processes notice files, legal files, credit bureau files, and disputes.  Like many of the Xact!ers, she enjoys getting outside and spending time with her family . Some of her favorite things to do are camping, boating, golfing, and watching her son play baseball.    

Accounts Receivable - Pat

Pat has over 14 years experience with Xact!  She began as a collector and now she handles everything from client services to verification to bank payments. When she is out of the office, she enjoys the occasional skeet shooting, biking, and of course, time with the family. During lunch hour in the break room, Pat's impromptu sense of humor is thoroughly enjoyed as a company pastime.

IT Support - Chad

Chad has been with Xact! for over 5 years. As the official IT support provider in the office, his Yahoo! Instant Messenger is the bridge between technology insanity and the PC blue screen of death. He not only shares his computer, software, and hardware skills with the office, but also the occasional music trivia challenge and his inhuman knowledge of classic and contemporary rock. In his spare time he enjoys participating in triathlons and overall general fitness as well as keeping on top of new technology. 

Client Services - Lauren

Lauren has worked for Xact! for almost 5 years. She started out in collections, and moved into client services after about two years. Lauren says that employees at Xact! tend to wear a lot of hats. "We are a team here at Xact!, everyone pitches in to help each other." In the office you can usually find her on the phone and/or computer assisting clients and jamming out to Minnesota Public Radio's The Current. Outside of the office, she relaxes with live music and volunteers assisting wildlife.
